Specific research: complex formation of the Cretaceous volcano intrusive along the southeast coast of China; tectonic evolution of Southern China in Mesozoic; granite genesis and magma mixing in the Gangdise belt of Tibet; crustal composition and evolution of ancient microcontinent at East Tianshan-Beishan in Precambrian; crustal evolution of Tarim craton in Precambrian. In 2012, he was selected as one of the 100 Youth Geological Talents training program of China Geological Survey.
